I don’t know what she is but she is definitely from south of the border. I’ve done my research and I am almost 100 percent sure she’s all natural. Not that it really matters.

You ever wonder what a rainy day in England sounds like, just download this album. While these guys are not eating a full English breakfast or attending a Tottenham football match they’re getting drunk and writing beautiful folk songs. Whether its slow and sad or fast and sweet BBC manages to keep things simple enough to enjoy and diverse enough so its doesn’t bore the shit out of you. Play if for a lady friend, an Indie lady friend…who wears a scarf.

Like most American men the only real reason that I knew about AFI was because they were Goth as shit and apparently homosexual. Slander aside I politely ignored their Goth rock and moved on with my life. Luckily my curiosity got the best of me and I checked out they’re earlier stuff relatively. This is AFIs 5th album and apparently is Skate Punk. I still have no idea what the fuck that genre means but apparently it makes you want to not vote and skateboard in your high school parking lot. This is a pretty bad ass album, its nothing mind-blowing or genre defining but it makes you tap your toes and buck the establishment; and in the end that’s all you can really ask for. Check it out, its so 2000.

Bad news - The RX Bandits have decided to call it quits. RX Bandits have been an obsession of mine for the last five years or so and they will be dearly missed. After one final summer tour the group will be no longer be recording / touring.

If you get a chance, go and see them on their farewell tour and give them the sendoff that they deserve.
Their live shows are also absolutely incredible.
